Bitmap fonts look very jagged / rough on the outlines (SOLVED)

Hi guys
I'm using BmGlyph to export my bitmap fonts and everything is fine apart from very rough looking edges.
Any idea why this is happening ... I'm using @4x @2x assets like with my graphics.
My graphics look perfectly smooth, but the fonts look very rough in comparison.
Any help would be awesome
