html leaderboard

Hi. Anyone know an easy way to setup a html leaderboard?
I found this and was wondering if it could be used in gideros with the url loader? or something?

Oh cool. It's all a bit over my head though. How would you use it from gideros?

something like:

@ar2rsawseen, what changes would you make so that the same player can have multiple scores in the top 10?

Also, because database information is in the php files, should they be chmod'ed to 600 ?

Also is this .htaccess file ok to put in there to make it obscure the fact php is used?

@billydb no, you would need to use UrlLoader to provide and get data and then you need to display the data your self, it only provides the backend to store data and retrieve it, no visualization, sorry

@SinisterSoft well you need to make sure file is not accessible from the outside, which I think php does by itself.
other concern if someone uploads php to read and display that file, so you need to protect and validate all file uploads on your server, but it has nothing to do with the script.

about htaccess, then -Indexes is a good idea yes, you don't need an url rewrite really, unless you want to and know how it would rewrite urls

and about multiple scores for user, currently it supports multiple games per app, so you can have top of fastest, slowest, etc users

But if you need multiple scores of same user in the same game, you need to modify code, basically this checks if there is already a score:

$score = $q->select_byvar("*", "score", "where gameID = '".$_GET["gameID"]."' and username = '".$_GET["username"]."' LIMIT 1");

and if there is it modifies it, if not it inserts it

so you can modify to always insert it

You could probably achieve the same thing using noobhub and lokijs but I think hosting for this type of system would be more expensive.
